Terms, privacy and refunds

Plain English wherever possible. If anything here is unclear, email us and ask — we would rather explain it than have you agree to something you have not understood.
Who we are
Gulfward publishes relocation cost information and downloadable guides for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. We are a digital publisher. We are not a relocation agent, an immigration adviser, a real estate broker, a tax adviser or a law firm, and we do not act for you in any of those capacities.
Terms of sale
What you are buying
Each city pack is a PDF guide delivered by download. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped. The page count and contents described on the product page are what you receive.
Delivery
Your download link is provided immediately after payment, on the confirmation screen and by email. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then email us. We will send it to you directly.
Licence
The pack is for your own personal use. You may print it and keep copies for yourself. Please do not resell it, publish it, or distribute it to people who have not bought it.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every figure in our guides and calculator was verified on the date shown and each section names the authority to check it against. Rents, government fees, visa rules and tenancy law in the UAE and Saudi Arabia change, sometimes with immediate effect and without notice.
Our figures are planning estimates, not quotations, and nothing we publish is legal, tax, immigration or financial advice. Verify anything that matters with the relevant authority before you commit money or sign anything. Decisions you take remain yours, and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on our published figures.
Updates
If you find something in a pack that has gone out of date, tell us. We will correct it and send you the updated edition at no charge.
Refunds
If a pack is not useful to you, reply to your receipt within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to return or delete anything.
Refunds are processed by our payment provider back to your original payment method, and usually take a few business days to appear depending on your bank.
If you were charged twice, or bought the wrong city by mistake, email us and we will put it right straight away. That is not a refund request, it is our error to fix.
Privacy
What we collect
- If you ask for your figures by email: your email address, and the selections you made in the calculator — city, household, community, size, instalments and similar. We use these to send you the breakdown you asked for and to make the guides better.
- If you buy a pack: our payment provider collects your name, email and billing details in order to take payment and meet tax obligations. We receive a record of the order. We never see or store your full card number.
- If you simply visit: anonymous analytics about pages viewed and how the site is used.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass your details to relocation agents, brokers or advertisers. If we ever introduce a service that shares your details with a third party, it will be something you opt into knowingly, not something buried in this page.
Who processes data for us
We use third-party services to run the site: a form and email provider to collect and send email, a payment provider to process purchases, hosting to serve the site, and analytics and advertising measurement from Meta and Google. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. We will action deletion requests promptly, except where we are required to keep a purchase record.
Cookies and measurement
We would like to use advertising and analytics cookies, including the Meta pixel, to understand which pages work and to measure whether our advertising reaches people it is useful to. These record actions such as viewing the page, requesting figures by email, or starting a checkout. They do not record the contents of your calculation against your name.
Nothing loads until you agree. When you first visit, we ask. If you decline, no measurement cookies are set and no data goes to Meta — declining takes exactly one click, the same as accepting. We remember your choice on your device so we do not ask again.
To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and we will ask again on your next visit. You can also block cookies outright in your browser, and opt out of personalised advertising through your Meta and Google account settings. The calculator works identically either way — nothing on this site is withheld from people who decline.
The cookies used to remember your currency choice and your answer to the cookie question are strictly necessary for the site to behave as you asked, and are stored only on your own device.
